Description
The City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed Management, is initiating a multistep competitive sealed bid process, starting with prequalification, to procure ongoing supplies of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, related equipment, and associated services. This procurement aims to maintain, repair, and replace centrifuges manufactured by Alfa Laval (Aldec), Andritz, and Flottweg, which are installed across various City facilities. Firms interested in participating must first undergo a prequalification phase to demonstrate minimum requirements for experience, team qualifications, and key personnel. The City expects vendors to provide manufacturer-certified or authorized service and parts. All supplied parts must be original or manufacturer-approved, accompanied by vendor certifications, quality assurance testing/inspections, warranties, and a minimum 12-month guarantee against defects. Compliance with applicable OSHA and Georgia OSHA standards, along with other quality assurance provisions such as sampling, plant/facility inspections, indemnification, and travel cost reimbursement, is mandatory. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be announced to provide further details and address any questions.
