The City of Atlanta is initiating a Multi-Step Competitive Sealed Bidding process to procure qualified contractors for emergency on-call debris removal, snow and ice abatement, obstruction removal, and disaster response services. This contract will support the Atlanta Department of Transportation, Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of Public Works, Department of Watershed Management, and the Department of Enterprise Assets Management. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for providing labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and qualified drivers/operators to assist City personnel. Services include clearing, removal, hauling, processing, and disposal of debris, ice, snow, and other obstructions from various City properties, including roadways, bridges, parking lots, and sidewalks. The scope includes both required services such as snow plowing and non-hazardous debris removal, and optional services like hazardous waste removal, white goods, electronic waste, soil/mud/sand, vehicles/vessels, putrescent debris, infectious waste, C.B.R.N. contaminated debris, and demolition debris. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to rapidly mobilize and provide services in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal requirements. This includes having the necessary licenses, certifications, insurance, equipment, trained operators, and supervisory capacity. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be scheduled to provide further details and address vendor questions.
