The City of Atlanta, Department of Corrections (DOC) is initiating a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process to procure a provider for comprehensive integrated healthcare and psychological services for detainees at the Atlanta City Detention Center (ACDC). This Scope of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for onsite inmate healthcare and psychological services for a term of five (5) base years, with three (3) year renewal options. The services will include routine integrated medical, behavioral health services, and emergency treatment of health problems. Key services include initial mental health screenings, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention, twice-weekly psychiatric clinic coordination, and ongoing care. Nursing services will encompass intake medical screenings, sick-call, medication administration, chronic care support, and emergency response. The contractor will also provide X-ray/radiology services, phlebotomy, and EKG services. All personnel must hold current, unrestricted licensure/certification in Georgia and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). A designated Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee nursing operations and coordinate with mental health leadership. The contractor must adhere to American Correctional Association (ACA) standards and applicable state/federal laws governing correctional health and psychological services, including PREA and HIPAA.
