Description
The Commonwealth Technical Institute is seeking perishable and non-perishable food products, including bakery items, vegetables, sauces, and other specified foods, for its students, employees, and guests. The attached specifications list the products, brands, units of measure, and estimated quantities. Bidders must identify the product and brand offered for each item and be the manufacturer or an authorized seller or supplier; non-manufacturers must include an authorization certification with the bid response. The awarded supplier must provide scheduled deliveries, Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time, to the facility’s kitchens. Deliveries must meet specified temperature, packaging, labeling, shelf-life, and product-quality requirements. The purchase order is intended to run for 90 days, with an option to extend for up to 90 additional days. The Worker Protection and Investment certification must be submitted with the bid. The Reciprocal Limitations Act form may be requested before award and, if requested, must be returned within two business days of notification.
