Description
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is soliciting bids for fresh bakery products, including sliced breads, hamburger and hot dog buns, bagels, dinner rolls, muffins, and other listed items. Frozen products are excluded. Products must be fresh and delivered within 48 hours of production, with applicable product, food-safety, packaging, and labeling requirements specified in the draft contract. Bidders may seek a statewide main award or reserved awards for one or more counties. The bid price sheet requires pricing for the applicable award area and completion of the minimum-order information. The solicitation calls for the bidder certification and bid price sheet to be submitted with the bid; the contract form is provided for review. The resulting contract is stated to have a 36-month initial term beginning April 1, 2027, with a possible performance-based extension of up to 24 months.
