Description
Audubon Commission, serving Audubon Nature Institute, is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of raw, uncooked seafood used for animal diets. Group 2 requirements include krill, shrimp, mackerel, squid, capelin, smelt, clams, salmon, and other specified seafood products, with estimated quantities, packaging, size, species, freezing, labeling, quality, and sustainability requirements. Products must generally be human-consumption, restaurant, or comparable quality; pass applicable seafood inspection standards; include shipment analysis documentation; and meet sourcing, catch-date, packaging, and delivery requirements. Bidders must use the corrected Group 2 Bid Form issued by Addendum 1 and the revised species, specifications, and estimated quantities issued by Addendum 2. The bid is a line-item award based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, although multiple suppliers may be selected. Prices must remain valid for 12 months, orders must be delivered within two weeks of placement, and bidders must provide proof of sustainable sourcing with the bid. A sample of a requested item may also be required for quality evaluation.
