Description
Grand Prairie Independent School District is establishing a qualified vendor list for grocery merchandise, retail merchandise, meal services, and catering. Vendors may submit percentage discounts from shelf or online pricing for grocery and retail items and from menu pricing for meal services and catering. The solicitation is non-expiring and does not identify specific quantities or particular services; successful respondents may be placed on the district vendor list. The contract is multi-award, and purchases will be made through district purchase orders. Responses must be submitted electronically through the bidding system, although paper submissions are legally accepted. Required response materials include the applicable electronic bid attributes, a completed W-9, at least three references, a current certificate of insurance, and applicable conflict-of-interest and Form 1295 disclosures. A completed GPISD ACH form and either a voided check or bank verification letter are required if electronic funds transfer is requested. Vendors working on district property may also be subject to background-check requirements and additional insurance documentation.
