Description
The City of Ukiah is seeking a supplier for approximately 15 dry tons of 25% sodium bisulfite meeting applicable AWWA/ANSI standards. The product will be delivered in approximately 4.5-ton loads to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant by bulk tanker truck, with delivery freight included and delivery required within five calendar days after receipt of each order. The bid form must be completed on the City's furnished forms and signed. The resulting contract will cover one year from the date of award, with quantities approximate and no obligation for the City to purchase the full amount. Vendors must maintain a City of Ukiah business license, comply with applicable DOT hazardous-material and OSHA requirements, and submit the required insurance coverage statement with the bid. The award will be based on the lowest overall bid, subject to the City's local-vendor preference and other stated terms.
