Description
Buncombe County is seeking qualified architectural, engineering, and surveying consultants to develop and execute a plan strengthening the perimeter security of a public-school property. Potential measures include perimeter barriers, automatic traffic-control gates or arms, security technology and cameras, and installation of a security booth. The selected team will provide stakeholder coordination; architectural, civil, structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical engineering; surveying; schematic design and cost modeling; design development and cost estimates; construction documents; bid administration; and construction administration. Statements of qualifications must include a letter of interest, team qualifications and firm history, resumes, relevant projects from the last seven years, four similar completed studies or designs, comparable project experience, organizational information, current workload, and an estimated completion timeframe. The submission must be one PDF digital copy, with an email attachment limit of 9 MB.
