Description

Washington County's Department of Land Use and Transportation is soliciting bids for interior tenant improvements in approximately 22,037 square feet on the third floor of the Public Services Building. The work includes selective demolition; new metal-framed, acoustically insulated partition walls for five offices and five phone rooms; doors and relites; repairs and new paint; carpet and rubber base; acoustical ceiling modifications; room signage; and mechanical, electrical, low-voltage, security, sprinkler, and fire-alarm modifications. The contractor must also provide power, data pathways, cabling, and connections associated with systems-furniture reconfiguration, while coordinating with the County's logistics vendor performing the furniture reconfiguration. Two additive alternates may be accepted if the resulting total remains within the $275,000 project budget: new acoustical ceiling tiles in the new offices and phone rooms, and an additional gypsum-board layer with mass-loaded vinyl on specified new walls. The building will remain occupied, requiring phased sequencing, maintained access, temporary barriers, and after-hours work where necessary. The project is subject to Oregon public-works requirements, prevailing wages, contractor licensing, bid security, and performance and payment bonds.
