Description
The Port of Portland is conducting a sources-sought Request for Information to identify firms capable of providing hardware and software maintenance, technical support, and licensing for two Rohde & Schwarz QPS Walk2000 walk-through security screening systems. The scope includes scheduled and corrective maintenance, inspections, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, replacement parts, software and firmware updates, security patches, and licensing. Providers must demonstrate authorization as an OEM-certified service provider, confirm that their work will not void active manufacturer warranties, and show capability to access authorized parts, software, and technical documentation. Responses should address remote and on-site technical support, urgent-issue response times, service records, compliance documentation, maintenance schedules, uptime targets, and relevant security, export, and certification requirements. Responders must submit a single PDF capabilities statement with a coversheet, technical capability information, warranty documentation, OEM certification, and at least two similar projects completed within the last three years; the response is limited to six pages and must use at least 10-point font.
