Carson City is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms for the SNPLMA round 20, Mills Park Master Plan Implementation Project. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive design services including civil engineering, landscape architecture, utility design, electrical engineering, and construction management for the renovation and expansion of Mills Park. The project includes a wide range of improvements such as a new restroom/snack bar, parking expansion, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial expansion, Wungnema House improvements, amphitheater repurposing, maintenance road improvements, vegetation buffer, skate park expansion, dog parks, fitness loop, playground, splash park, Foley's Forest Lane, basketball court and new parking lot, promenade, and security camera system. The project will be delivered using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method, and the estimated construction cost is $11,920,000. The consultant will be responsible for all phases of design from 30% to 100% completion, permitting, bidding support, and construction phase services including RFI responses, submittal review, change order management, and project closeout.
