Description
El Dorado County is requesting bids for one new, unused 2026/27 Ford E-Transit Cargo Van, specifically a Transit Long 350 with a 148-inch wheelbase and medium roof. The vehicle must be 100% electric and meet the detailed quotation schedule specifications, including an enhanced-range electric motor and 89 kWh high-voltage battery, rear-wheel drive, specified safety and braking systems, cargo flooring, backup camera, sliding side door, rear barn doors, load-floor and wall-liner options, and other listed equipment. Comparable products may be considered unless the specification requires the referenced brand, but bidders offering alternatives must identify the brand and catalog model number and meet all requirements. The bid price must include applicable dealer charges, delivery, and DMV processing fees, with delivery freight prepaid FOB destination to the County's Fleet Services facility. Bidders must be the manufacturer or an authorized manufacturer representative, possess a valid California Seller's Permit or qualify for the stated exception, and complete the County's quotation schedule and required bidder information. Optional seven-year/100,000-mile extended service plans may also be quoted. Responses may be submitted electronically through PlanetBids or as a sealed hard-copy bid.
