Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting dealers to establish up to five master agreements per manufacturer for new, current-model-year fleet vehicles from Chevrolet; Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler; Ford; Hyundai; Toyota; and Nissan. Vehicles must include air conditioning, automatic transmission, a third key or remote, and cruise control, and must be supplied with the manufacturer's most favorable warranty offered to preferred customers. Dealers must place vehicle orders within 120 hours (five working days) after receiving an acceptable purchase order. Agencies using the agreements must solicit quotes from at least three awarded dealers before purchasing. The contract will be awarded by line item based on manufacturer and fleet destination charge. Delivery within 50 miles of Frankfort, Kentucky, is free; deliveries beyond that radius may include a one-way per-mile destination charge stated in the quote. The initial contract period is one year, with three optional three-year renewal periods. Paper bids are not accepted; responses must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system. Required pre-award items include applicable tax registration, foreign-entity authority documentation, and required affidavits; proof of insurance is also required before award.
