Description
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is soliciting snow and ice removal services at its Teleport facility in Staten Island, New York. The contractor must provide 24/7 availability during the October 15–April 15 snow season; remove snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, loading docks, buildings, and related facility areas; apply Port Authority-supplied deicing materials; and perform work as directed by the facility manager. The scope requires dedicated snow-removal equipment, including two plows with spreaders, front loaders, dump trucks, labor, supervision, maintenance, cellular phones, and a supervisor. Supplemental work may include pretreatment, hauling, callback work, additional equipment, and labor for sidewalks and other areas. The initial term is one year, expected to begin on or about December 17, 2026, with one one-year option and a possible 120-day extension. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience, similar commercial or industrial contract experience, and at least $200,000 in annual gross income. The bid must include equipment information and outreach plans for Minority Business Enterprises, Women-owned Business Enterprises, and Service-disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.
