Description
The City of Madera is seeking applications from licensed contractors to be included on its 2026 Informal Construction Bid List under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Contractors must hold a valid State of California Contractor State License Board (CSLB) license in the relevant category, possess a City business license, and be able to secure necessary bonds and insurance. All contractors must also be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per Senate Bill 854 and California Labor Code section 1725.5 for public works projects. The application must be submitted via email to purchasinginfo@madera.gov prior to December 31, 2026. Inclusion on the bid list does not guarantee a contract award or obligate the City to procure any goods or services.
