Description
The City of Lincoln City seeks to commission and purchase no more than 10 original small- to medium-sized artworks from Siletz Tribal Members for public display in the new Lincoln City Welcome Center at D River Wayside. Eligible artwork may include necklaces, beadwork, regalia, small carvings, basketry, paintings, and other portable artworks that interpret contemporary Siletz tribal culture and support the center's educational and visitor-focused mission. Interested artists must submit a proposal containing the artist's name and contact information, a project description, a sketch, and the total artist reimbursement and commission cost. Selected artwork will be appraised for purchase, the City will own the purchased works, and completed artwork must be ready for installation by January 15, 2027.
