Legal Notice # 21946505 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Electronic Bids received in BidNet and delivered Sealed Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Brookhaven Town Hall Complex located at One Independence Hill, Farmingville, New York, 11738, 3rd Floor, for the following project on the date as indicated at 11:00 am: BID #26036 CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR FACILITY AT BROOKHAVEN AQUATIC CENTER BID DUE DATE: OCTOBER 26, 2026 Specifications for the above-referenced bid will be available beginning October 5, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on October 13, 2026 at 10:00AM at the Brookhaven Aquatic Center 300 Mastic Beach Road Mastic Beach NY 11951. Any potential bidder interested in attending the site visit must register by emailing the Town contacts below. Technical questions and concerns will be expected no later than close of business, October 19, 2026 The Town of Brookhaven is pleased to announce that it now accepts electronic bid submissions through its Website utilizing our new BidNet Direct portal by SOVRA, by the specified due date and time as outlined in the bid document. The website also can be accessed at www.bidnetdirect.com//townofbrookhaven. Sealed bids also will be accepted if delivered to Town Hall in the prescribed format by the specified due date and time as outlined in the bid document. Preferred Method Access website: www.bidnetdirect.com//townofbrookhaven Follow directions to register (if not already registered) and download Bid document. Follow directions of how to submit Bid response electronically if preferred to Sealed Bid delivery Questions must be submitted in writing to Finance Department Purchasing Division to cwilliams@brookhavenny.gov and aboland@brookhavenny.gov The Town of Brookhaven reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, if in the best interests of the Town. Description
The Town of Brookhaven is soliciting bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to completely construct and install proposed solar photovoltaic systems at the Brookhaven Aquatic Center. The procurement is identified as Bid #26036 and has a contract term stated as “until completion.” A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled, and technical questions must be submitted in writing before the stated deadline. Bidders may submit electronically through the BidNet Direct portal or deliver sealed bids to Town Hall by the due date and time.
