Description
Suffolk County seeks a comprehensive electronic medical record system for the medical units at its Riverhead and Yaphank correctional facilities, serving approximately 1,000 inmates. The system must support data migration from NextGen Version 8; test and production environments; security, disaster recovery, HIPAA compliance, offline operation, electronic signatures, reporting, pharmacy management, medication administration, dental and medical imaging, telemedicine, practitioner workflows, appointment management, and customizable forms, templates, alerts, and reminders. Required integrations include SallyPort jail-management software, the current CIPS pharmacy software, HL7/TCP/IP and FHIR interfaces, digital radiography systems including Dexis and Ray Scan Alpha, barcode scanners, automated dispensing equipment, and common dictation software. The scope also includes implementation, data migration, customization, onsite training, training videos, training for trainers or super users, 24/7 technical support, troubleshooting, system upgrades, documentation, and assistance with disaster-recovery planning. Proposals must include the proposer profile, personnel qualifications, financial information, client history and references, technical response, subcontractor information if applicable, conflict-of-interest disclosures, and a separate cost proposal/fee schedule. The anticipated contract term is five years with two one-year renewal options.
