Description
The University of Connecticut is seeking one or more qualified catering providers to furnish buffet-style breakfasts, lunches, light refreshments, or combinations thereof for transportation training events and workshops serving approximately 15 to 60 attendees per event at locations throughout Connecticut. Required services include meal and refreshment preparation and delivery, food-service-area setup, serving equipment and utensils, and maintenance of safe temperatures and sanitary conditions during transport and setup. Providers must accommodate changing locations, schedule adjustments, short-notice cancellations, and multiple events on the same day. Vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary accommodations are required. Most preparation will occur at the vendor's licensed facility because event locations may have limited or no kitchen facilities. Events held on University property must use only Coca-Cola products and may not display branding or advertising without prior written approval. The solicitation requests menus, service and staffing approaches, food-safety procedures, licenses and permits, pricing, and three comparable references.
