Description
The City seeks qualified firms to provide on-call plumbing and mechanical services on a time-and-materials basis through 2029. Requested labor categories include master and apprentice plumbers, plumbing laborers, welders, HVAC technicians and laborers, and boiler technicians. Work is assigned as needed, may include emergency work, and individual assignments may be up to $25,000, subject to a cumulative maximum of $150,000 per selected firm. The City may select multiple firms and does not guarantee any minimum amount of work. Proposals must include labor rates by category for 2026–2029, materials and subcontractor markups, rates for commonly used contractor-owned equipment, the firm's experience modification rate, qualifications and applicable license evidence, and any intended subcontractor information. A prequalification application is required for projects at or above $100,000 if the proposer is not already prequalified. The proposal is limited to 10 pages. The City evaluates labor and equipment rates, qualifications, and local knowledge.
