Description
The U.S. Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is seeking eligible contractors to furnish the labor, materials, and facilities required to manufacture or modify 2,300 tiles measuring 24 by 24 inches for stock. Delivery is FOB origin. Remanufactured, surplus, and new-procurement acquisitions will not be considered responsive; the requirement is for the specified manufacturing or modification effort. The part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Offerors, products, or manufacturers must meet the applicable qualification requirements at the time of award, and alternate sources must qualify under the Government engineering activity's procedures. The acquisition is not being conducted under the commercial-item policies of FAR Part 12, and applicable trade-agreement clauses may apply if included in the solicitation.
