Description
The City of Tampa is seeking quotes for 40 precast concrete thrust blocks meeting the attached technical specifications and drawing. The specified blocks require 4,000-psi concrete, Grade 60 reinforcement, cast-in lifting hooks or approved PCI-compliant lifting inserts, and design for specified soil-bearing and internal pipe-pressure conditions. The blocks are intended for fire hydrants and fittings six inches or smaller, where allowed by the engineer. Fabricators must submit shop drawings for engineer review before fabrication, including dimensions, reinforcement, lifting devices, materials, and unit weight. This is an as-needed supply award with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity. Pricing must include freight and delivery, with materials delivered within 10 days after receipt of order. The quote is awarded for a one-year period, and the City may award by division, line item, or aggregate total. Responses must be submitted electronically through the designated procurement portal.
