Description
Lee's Summit R-7 School District is soliciting construction services from trade contractors, subcontractors, trade partners, and suppliers for construction of the new Hazel Grove Elementary School. Bids are to be submitted directly to one of the pre-qualified construction managers at risk: Hausmann Construction, A.L. Huber Construction, or Universal Construction. The project is a stipulated-sum contract. Each bid must include bid security equal to at least 5% of the bid amount, provided as a bid bond or an acceptable certified, cashier's, or bank-issued check. A successful bidder may be required, at the discretion of the construction manager or school district, to furnish performance and material-and-labor payment bonds each equal to 100% of the bid. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with applicable Missouri prevailing-wage requirements and anti-discrimination laws.
