Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management, is soliciting bids from contractors with active MBE certification to plug and plate 35 orphan wells at multiple sites in Washington County. The scope includes mobilization, access and well-site development, drilling or cleaning out wells, plugging, storage and disposal of generated materials, decommissioning and removal of casing, tubing, well and production equipment and affiliated lines, and restoration of disturbed areas. Required pricing includes mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, erosion-control materials, aggregate and stone, culverts, road and timber mats, and related project items. The project is federally funded, so applicable federal requirements will apply to contractors and subcontractors. Bidders must be active on CSP900922 (DAS Index No. MAC110), attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting, acknowledge Amendment 1 by submitting the revised Offer Sheet through OhioBuys, and be in good standing with the Division and other agency projects. Amendment 1 also restricts work on specified wells located on David Kuhns's property from October 1 through January 31.
