Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation for development of a new potable water well at the Norwood Horse Pasture. The work includes drilling a minimum 100-foot well capable of producing at least 10 gallons per minute; furnishing and installing casing, well screen, grout, gravel pack, pitless adapter, sanitary cap, and related components; developing, disinfecting, pump-testing, and sampling the well; restoring drill cuttings, waste, and surface disturbance; and completing required well records. The well pump, drop pipe, and distribution line are excluded. The contractor must be licensed in Colorado for water-well construction and pump installation and use a Colorado-certified laboratory for required water-quality testing. The quotation must address schedule capability, identify required key personnel, explain any requirements the offeror cannot accomplish, provide a completion time, and include pricing for the complete schedule of items. Award will be based on technical merit, fair and reasonable pricing, and acceptable or neutral past performance; award will not necessarily go to the lowest-priced offeror.
