Description
The City of Bellevue is requesting qualifications from consultants to provide on-call geotechnical plan review services. The scope of work includes verifying that plans, calculations, designs, and specifications for the shoring permit phase of development projects meet all applicable codes, laws, and standards adopted by the City. Multiple agreements may be awarded from this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), with work provided on an as-needed basis. The City does not guarantee a minimum amount of work under these agreements. Consultants must demonstrate experience with municipal and regulatory entities, strong communication skills, expertise in geotechnical engineering, and knowledge of construction codes and engineering standards as adopted by the City of Bellevue. Proposals must include a cover letter, a description of the vendor's approach and proposed schedule, and a statement of understanding regarding insurance requirements. The contract duration is expected to be 5 years.
