Description
The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Base Seattle is seeking to award a sole source purchase order to Quigg Bros, Inc. for the repair of a metal brow connecting to a floating pier at USCG Station Grays Harbor, Washington. The existing metal brow has sustained damage due to storm-related stress at its hinge points, causing detachment and misalignment, which prevents safe access to a critical servicing dock for mission-capable assets. The scope of work includes temporarily suspending and realigning the brow, repairing or replacing damaged hinge components, and reinforcing the hinge system to better withstand future storm surge forces. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the repair. This includes obtaining necessary permits, implementing a comprehensive safety and environmental protection plan, providing temporary support systems, ensuring proper alignment, and applying corrosion protection to all repaired and replaced metal components. The period of performance for this contract is from June 22, 2026, to August 3, 2026. The procurement type will be a firm fixed price.
