Description
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is soliciting bids for the drydocking and repair of the Jumbo Mark II Class Ferry M.V. Tacoma. The work includes USCG credit drydock, propeller and rudder inspections, sea water valve replacement, open and inspect sewage and potable tanks, lube oil piping, purifier tank piping, inner and outer shaft seal element replacement, No. 1 End bearings and air space installation, propulsion motor maintenance, and other preservation and general maintenance as specified in the IFB Technical Specifications. The vessel is 460' 2" x 90" and carries 202 vehicles and 2500 passengers. All work must be performed within Puget Sound, Washington during the period of October 5, 2026 to November 6, 2026.
