Description
The National Park Service (NPS) at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area requires the replacement of a marine outboard gasoline engine on an NPS-owned patrol boat. The project involves the purchase, removal, and installation of two new marine-grade engines, along with associated controls, cables, wiring, and mounting hardware. The vessel is a 26-foot Seahawk patrol boat used for law enforcement and personnel transport. The new engines must be two Mercury Verado 150HP inline 4 outboard motors, meeting specific fuel tolerance, horsepower, and weight requirements. The period of performance is from approximately July 20, 2026, to February 5, 2027, with installation beginning no earlier than October 5, 2026. The contractor will have up to 90 days to complete the work after the boat is delivered. The award will be a simplified acquisition, best value award based on price and other considerations.
