The U.S. Government is seeking alternate leased office space of approximately 4,000 square feet in Independence, Missouri, because its current lease is expiring. The offered space must support a military recruiting facility and be delivered ready for occupancy, with required architectural and engineering drawings, tenant improvements, accessibility, fire and life-safety systems, HVAC, utilities, parking, signage, communications infrastructure, and video intercom entry-control and CCTV/NVR security systems. The lessor must also provide ongoing property maintenance, repairs, landscaping, snow and ice removal, pest control, utilities, and related building services. The lease package includes a five-year term in the rent proposal worksheet. Janitorial services are required twice weekly for routine cleaning and more frequently or periodically for specified tasks, including trash removal, vacuuming, floor and restroom cleaning, high-touch disinfection, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, HVAC intake cleaning, light-fixture cleaning, and replacement of lamps and supplies. Offerors must complete the USACE Rent Proposal Form 1364 and attach evidence of ownership interest in the property; the proposal must identify the building, offered space, rent and operating costs, owner information, lease terms, and related details.
