Description
Jackson County, Missouri is soliciting as-needed environmental management services, testing, clearance air monitoring, and third-party oversight for planned and unforeseen projects. The scope includes asbestos and lead inspection, management planning, project design, supervision, worker services, mold-related services, abatement, disposal, air-quality testing, reporting, and related labor, equipment, supplies, laboratories, shipping documentation, and regulatory notifications. Personnel must hold applicable Missouri Department of Natural Resources certifications, and laboratories used for mold and lead-paint analysis must have EPA-approved quality-assurance programs and NVLAP certification. The contract is a 24-month term and supply contract with one 12-month extension option. The County estimates annual spending of $80,000. Bidders must provide labor rates, abatement and disposal rates, material markups, delivery charges, service availability, and contact information. MBE and WBE participation goals are 9.5% and 11.7%, respectively; VBE participation is 0%.
