Description
The City of El Mirage is soliciting a qualified engineering firm to perform a comprehensive arc flash hazard analysis in accordance with NFPA 70E, the latest edition of IEEE 1584, and applicable regulatory requirements. The scope covers nine well sites, eight booster stations, five generator switchgears, a sanitary lift station, a water reclamation facility, and associated generator transfer switches. Required work includes on-site electrical data collection; system modeling; short-circuit analysis; protective-device coordination; arc-flash calculations; updated one-line diagrams; durable warning-label installation; recommendations for system improvements; final reports; native SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower modeling files; and four-hour staff training. Proposals must include a detailed cost breakdown, additional-service hourly rates, proposed schedule, software to be used, and assumptions, exclusions, or optional services. The solicitation also requests evidence of insurance, licenses, a complete proposal, and a proposed project schedule.
