Description
The City of Claremont is seeking a contractor to renovate the Padua Hills Theater pergola. The work includes pressure washing; demolition and hauling; removal and replacement of brick column caps, roof screens, sheet-metal roofing, tongue-and-groove ceiling panels, rafters, beams, electrical conduits and wiring, and fire-sprinkler lines; repair of dry-rotted wood; reuse and installation of rain gutters; installation of custom sawn beams and rafters; painting; surveillance-camera and cable reinstallation; and related masonry, roofing, electrical, and finish work. The project must be performed between January 18, 2027, and February 1, 2027, with workdays potentially including weekends. The contractor must be properly licensed in classification A, B, or C-10, self-perform 100% of the work, comply with California prevailing-wage and public-works registration requirements, and provide the required bid security, performance bond, payment bond, insurance, and certifications.
