Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is soliciting qualifications from firms to provide 100% frontline construction engineering and inspection services for the US 278 grade separation over the CSX Railroad in Walton County. The scope includes contract administration, construction inspection, quality assurance, materials sampling and testing, documentation, general contract-compliance monitoring, traffic-control-plan inspection, project closeout, and support for materials certification. The consultant may need to perform night and weekend inspections and must furnish necessary personnel, equipment, transportation, safety equipment, supplies, and incidentals; GDOT will provide certain software and concrete testing equipment and laboratory services. The procurement is a multi-phase, project-specific contract with one selected firm. Phase I evaluates personnel qualifications, resources and challenges, and prime-consultant past performance; shortlisted firms may submit a Phase II technical approach addressing management, staffing, performance measures, quality assurance, training, resource deployment, technology, and workload. The team must collectively satisfy GDOT Area Classes 6.04(b), 8.01, 9.02, and 9.03. Required Phase I materials include a complete PDF Statement of Qualifications, personnel and company information, an organizational chart, an Area Class Summary Table, Notices of Professional Consultant Qualifications, similar-project narratives, and applicable performance evaluation forms. Phase II administrative materials include a completed and notarized Certification Form and Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act Affidavit. Responses must be submitted through the GDOT solicitation portal as specified PDF files.
