Description
The City is soliciting unit-price bids for removal of existing concrete waterways and related infrastructure, followed by installation of storm drain catch basins, combo boxes, and approximately 577 linear feet of 15-inch ADS HP storm drain pipe. Work also includes connecting to existing storm drain infrastructure, removing and replacing curb and gutter and ADA pedestrian ramps, roadway asphalt and untreated base course, adjusting manhole rims and collars, and restoring disturbed landscaping and irrigation. Traffic control, surveying, materials and compaction testing, permits, and stormwater pollution prevention measures are included in the scope. The bid package requires the complete bid documents, including the bid form, bid schedule, bidder status report, and subcontractor and supplier report, to be submitted online through Bonfire. A bid security equal to at least 5% of the bid is required. The work must be substantially complete within 45 days of the notice to proceed; the anticipated notice-to-proceed date is April 6, with no year specified.
