Description
Iowa State University of Science and Technology is soliciting qualified contractors to remove and replace the existing lighting system at Jack Trice Stadium. The work includes electrical and general construction activities, project-specific sports-lighting equipment, controls, mounting structures, installation wiring, and related materials described in the project drawings and sports-lighting performance specifications. The preliminary concepts identify Musco LED fixtures, remote driver enclosures, controls, new steel light racks, mounting modifications, and associated installation work. The proposal requires a construction schedule, three similar-size and similar-configuration project references, subcontractor information if applicable, responses to exceptions and confidentiality questions, contractor certifications, an Iowa contractor registration number, pricing for the lighting replacement and the performance/payment bond, and authorized supplier information and signature. A performance and payment bond is required when project cost exceeds $25,000. The work may tentatively begin December 1, 2026, and must be completed before July 1, 2027.
