Description
The City seeks one contractor to provide towing and emergency roadside services for City vehicles, as well as towing, storage, and auction services for vehicles handled by the Police Department. The scope includes towing and winching for a wide range of vehicles and equipment, flat-tire and jump-start services, daily storage, secondary tows, and optional abandoned-vehicle disposal services. Bidders must provide the personnel, supervision, materials, and equipment needed, and include a list of equipment and service-location details. Storage yards and buildings must be within the City limits. The initial contract term is three years beginning January 1, 2027, with up to two mutually agreed one-year renewals. The solicitation requires electronic submission through IonWave and a bid bond or cashier’s check of at least 5% of the total bid when the bid exceeds $40,000. A performance bond is required after award. The award will be all-or-nothing to one bidder.
