Description
Lake County seeks one or more contractors to provide as-needed repair services for county-owned vehicles and operating equipment. Work may include hydraulic, drivetrain, electrical, chassis, heating and air conditioning, transmission, wheel alignment, tire balancing, suspension, steering, welding, retrofitting, upfitting, and restoration. Contractors must provide the labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed, use new or maintenance-certified parts meeting or exceeding OEM standards, and warrant repairs for one year or 12,000 miles. The county may also request towing, including 24/7 emergency towing, and vendors may price towing and vehicle pickup or delivery separately. The contract is indefinite quantity with no guaranteed minimum or maximum spend. The initial term is one year, with two optional two-year renewals. Vendors must have a full-service facility in Central Florida, defined as Lake, Osceola, Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Marion, Polk, or Sumter County. The solicitation requires at least three verifiable references for similar projects completed within the past five years. The county will consider total cost, delivery, past performance, and technical compliance.
