Description
Bexar County seeks a contractor to provide towing, wrecker, vehicle recovery, and storage services for the Sheriff's Office and Constable's Offices, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Services include light-, medium-, and heavy-duty tows; non-consent and consent towing; impounding and releasing vehicles; accident-scene debris cleanup; and storage at a licensed facility within the county with capacity for at least 250 county-dispatched vehicles. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, dispatch and management plans, adequate towing vehicles and specialty equipment, compatible dispatch and impound-management technology, and handheld devices for collecting signatures and issuing receipts. The scope requires a response within 30 minutes, specified driver and vehicle qualifications, reporting, and coordination with subcontractors. Respondents must submit a proposal addressing the requested experience, dispatch, management, staffing, safety, complaint resolution, technology, reporting, vehicles, maintenance, and related operational requirements, along with the completed price matrix and special-equipment rate list.
