Description
Douglas County seeks one or more contractors to develop and implement a media campaign promoting lead poisoning awareness, blood-lead screening for children, and the Health Department's lead prevention services. The campaign should target residents at high risk of lead exposure, including communities affected by lead paint, lead dust, and contaminated imported products, and use appropriate media such as video, radio, print, web, signs, or billboards. The contractor will collaborate with the Health Department on campaign materials and media selection, engage English- and non-English-speaking community members for input, and provide tools and data to assess campaign effectiveness and efficiency. The work also includes updating and maintaining the campaign website, providing campaign information in languages appropriate to the target population, and supporting reporting and coordination with community agencies. The cost proposal must itemize campaign elements, costs, and the portion of the target population served. Approximately $125,000 is available for the contract term. The contract is for one year, with up to two additional one-year extensions at the County's option. The solicitation anticipates one or multiple contractors and allows subcontracting subject to the vendor's responsibility for the full scope.
