Description
The City of Omaha is soliciting a bid for one complete tandem-axle dump truck equipment package, including a 14-foot dump body, hydraulic system and controls, snow plow and hitch, and slide-in spreader. The specifications detail construction materials, dimensions, hydraulic and electrical components, lighting, safety equipment, tarp, mirrors, and related accessories. The package also includes installation and delivery, and the bid price must include shipping and delivery costs. Bidders must submit pricing for all bid line items (the event lists one base bid) and state the number of days after award required for delivery. A bid security equal to 5% of the total bid is required when the bid is $50,000 or more; an acceptable substitute may be used. A copy is uploaded with the electronic bid, and the original must be delivered to the City Clerk within seven calendar days after bid closing. The response also requires a completed Responsible Contractor Compliance form and, for delivery service, a notarized Employee Classification Act affidavit.
