Description
Johnston County Department of Public Utilities (JCPU) is soliciting qualification statements from consulting firms to provide professional services for the design of a new water treatment facility in Princeton, North Carolina. The project involves the design of the Lower Neuse Water Treatment Plant, which will be built on a county-owned site and will include all treatment facilities from the raw water pump station pipeline to the distribution system, as well as ancillary facilities like office space and maintenance areas. The intakes and raw water pump stations will be designed and constructed by others. This project will be delivered using a traditional design-bid-build approach, with a selection panel evaluating statements to choose a single consulting firm for the design, permitting, bidding, and contracting phases. Interviews may be conducted to differentiate top respondents.
