Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires comprehensive patient-assisted parking services exclusively at the main entrance of the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center. The contractor must provide three trained parking attendants for weekday coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., maintain continuous coverage of the patient parking lot and front circle, park and retrieve patient vehicles, secure keys, issue claim checks, and keep vehicle wait times below 10 minutes. Typical daily volume is approximately 85 vehicles, with peak volume of up to 150 vehicles. The contractor must furnish supervision, labor, uniforms, signage, a podium, lock boxes, radios or walkie-talkies, cones, a gas-powered golf cart, and an app-based claim-check and vehicle-request system with reporting capabilities. Personnel must have valid U.S. driver's licenses, at least two years of driving experience, U.S. citizenship, English fluency, and healthcare patient-assisted parking experience. The response must include a technical capability statement, insurance and safety documentation, and evidence of at least five years of relevant experience with three similar references. The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
