Description
The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute, Office of the Medical Director, and Health Research, Inc. are seeking one not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization to manage a statewide clinical guidelines program. The selected organization will develop and update evidence-based guidelines addressing HIV, hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infections, substance use, LGBTQ+ health, and health equity; coordinate expert committees and peer and consumer reviews; conduct literature searches and evidence reviews; provide medical editing and version control; and maintain guideline-related records and workflows. The scope also includes disseminating approved guidelines through a user-friendly, mobile-friendly website; managing and enhancing www.hivguidelines.org; expanding social media, newsletter, podcast, and other dissemination channels; supporting implementation through collaboration with clinical education and quality-of-care programs; conducting feasibility studies; and evaluating guideline use and program performance. Administrative responsibilities include meeting coordination, conflict-of-interest and confidentiality tracking, honoraria administration, reporting, strategic planning, and related operational support. Applicants must demonstrate relevant clinical-guideline and website-management experience, submit specified narratives, budgets, forms, and attachments, and may subcontract up to 50% of the total contract scope. One statewide award is anticipated, with up to $795,000 annually and a five-year state contract period.
