Description
Harmony Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified general contractors for improvements to the existing parking lot at Harmony Science Academy–Waco. The work includes demolition and site preparation; repair of failed or deteriorated concrete and pavement areas; installation of a 2-inch compacted hot-mix asphalt overlay over existing concrete pavement; cleaning; repainting and repositioning existing wheel stops; installation of new wheel stops and pipe bollards; parking-lot striping and accessible parking markings; and procurement and installation of parking-lot signage. Proposers must provide a complete construction proposal with pricing, required forms and certifications, proposed personnel resumes, relevant project experience and references, OSHA inspection logs for the last three years, insurance loss analysis and loss history, financial statements, proof of licensing or credentials, insurance certificates, and a bonding-company eligibility letter. Payment and performance bonds are required after award before contract execution or commencement, as applicable. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, applicable accessibility standards, permitting and inspection requirements, and a substantial-completion deadline of June 30, 2027. The solicitation states that the proposal will be evaluated using price, experience and reputation, quality, financial wherewithal and company size, proposed personnel, and safety record.
