Description
Lucas County is soliciting electronic bids for the materials, labor, tools, equipment, bypass operations, debris removal, and incidentals required to rehabilitate the S-500 interceptor sanitary sewer and structures between manholes 6 and 8 along North Jerome Road in Monclova Township. The work includes approximately 1,703 feet of 90-inch sewer, 30 feet of 84-inch sewer, and 89 feet of 48-inch sewer, while maintaining flow to the Lucas County Water Resource Recovery Facility. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Bid security must be either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond equal to 100% of the bid or a certified check, cashier’s check, or money order for at least 10% of the bid. A two-year maintenance bond equal to 25% of the contract amount will be required upon acceptance. The project also includes Ohio product, labor, equal-employment, prevailing-wage, and potentially applicable responsible-contractor, prequalification, and project-labor-agreement requirements.
