Description
The City of Beverly Hills is seeking to prequalify elevator and lift contractors for upcoming ADA wheelchair-lift projects at various city facilities. The scope includes full installation, modernization, and replacement of vertical transportation equipment, along with work by other trades. Prequalified contractors may be considered for projects over the next five years. Applicants must complete the prequalification questionnaire and provide the required supporting materials, including financial statements, a notarized surety statement, organizational and compliance information, and documentation of qualifying past projects. Contractors must hold a California C-11 license, maintain required insurance and workers' compensation coverage, be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, and demonstrate relevant public-sector vertical-transportation experience and bonding capacity. A 10% bidder's security or bid bond will be required for subsequent project bids, and selected contractors will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
