Description
The 45th Space Launch Delta Chapel seeks a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator to support its Catholic worship community. The contractor will administer religious education programs for grades K–12 and adults; organize monthly and sacramental-preparation classes; recruit, train, and mentor volunteer educators; coordinate Vacation Bible School and other Catholic programs; maintain program records; prepare publicity and newsletters; and support special religious events. The position requires at least 30 hours per month and may include evening and weekend activities. The coordinator must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing, be an approved catechist with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, possess a bachelor's degree in education or a related field or equivalent experience, have at least two years of relevant experience, provide references, and pass the required background investigation. The contractor must also provide quality-control procedures, recurring program and attendance reports, budgets and calendars, and other specified deliverables. The anticipated structure is one 12-month base year plus four option years, with an additional six-month extension option identified in the notice.
