Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Protestant religious service provider to perform contract chaplain services at Pickaway Correctional Institution. The solicitation lists an hourly-rate item for Protestant chaplain services, not to exceed 39 hours weekly, and a mandatory annual religious service meeting. Offerors must submit a certificate of licensure and/or ordination, a letter of endorsement from a local congregation or denomination, clinical pastoral education credits if obtained, a resume, and other documents supporting qualifications. The evaluation includes experience providing pastoral care in institutional or other facility settings, experience conducting or supporting worship and prayer services and religious observances, and understanding of critical practices in institutional pastoral care.
